How we quote

From an estimate to a real quote

The ranges above come from our calculator. Your quote comes from a factory that has read your tech pack. Here is how one turns into the other.

Tech pack cover page with front and back views, measurement chart and fabric details
Example tech pack by Pinterest user Munique Rodrigues
  1. Before you write to us

    A calculator estimate

A US base range for the garment, multiplied by three factors, plus extras per unit. It tells you whether the product fits your price before anyone quotes.

    Base×Fabric×Quantity×Complexity+Extras

  2. Reply within 24 hours

    Your free brief

Product, quantity per style (from 100), fabric, target price and the date stock has to land. A sketch or photo is enough. We pick the hub and the factory that already makes it.

  3. From the tech pack

    The factory’s quote

The factory prices your exact tech pack: fabric, trims, sizes, print or wash. No tech pack yet? We draw one for $79 per style in 3–5 working days. The fabric origin decides the label wording.

  4. Before any work starts

    Our fee, in writing

Quoted after we read your brief and never tied to order size. No commission from factories. The factory bills you directly for samples and production.

No. Each run on this page is an example of a typical order for its product family, built from our confirmed timings and our cost calculator. No client, brand, quote or result is shown. When clients agree to share their runs, we will label those separately.

With the same formula as our cost calculator: a US base range for the garment, multiplied by the fabric tier, the quantity tier and the construction complexity, plus extras such as labels, printing or a wash, per unit. Each example shows the settings it used. It is a calculator estimate, your quote may differ.

The factory prices your exact tech pack: fabric price and minimums, trims, the number of sizes and colors, print or embroidery size, wash recipe and its current capacity. Treat the example range as a sanity check, then send a brief for a real number.

Usually 8 to 12 weeks from brief to delivery: about a week for the brief, tech pack and factory choice, 2 to 4 weeks of sampling, 4 to 6 weeks of bulk production, then 1 to 5 days of ground shipping to anywhere in the lower 48.

From 100 pieces per style in every product family, socks included (100 pairs). The examples use 100 to 300 so you can see how quantity changes the unit cost.

A plain “Made in USA” label needs all or virtually all of the garment made here, which for clothing means US-made fabric as well as US cutting and sewing. Cut and sewn here from imported fabric, the FTC rules require “Made in USA of imported fabric” (or the country named). Your product pages need the same wording. We check both before the first bulk run.

The factory bills you directly for samples and production. Sending a brief is free; after we read it, we quote our fee in writing before any work starts, and it is never tied to order size. We take no commission from factories.

No. A sketch or photo is enough for a first quote. Factories sample right the first time from a complete tech pack, so if you don’t have one we draw it for $79 per style in 3 to 5 working days, with 2 to 3 revision rounds.
