Strongest of the threeThis page’s hubGeneral strengths of each region, not a ranking of single factories. We confirm the fit per factory after reading your brief.

  • Pick New York instead if…

You need the fastest sampling and patternmaking, or womenswear, dresses and wovens in short runs, and can accept a cut, make and trim price that is often higher.

    Clothing manufacturers in New York
  • Pick the Carolinas instead if…

Your line is tees, fleece, socks or activewear knits, you want US-made knit fabric close to the sewing, and you don’t need much fashion sampling.

Los Angeles is the largest apparel manufacturing cluster in the US. Cutting, sewing, washing, dyeing and printing sit close together, so one style can move between them without leaving the region. That makes it the widest choice for knit tops, fleece, denim, activewear and streetwear.

100 pieces per style, in every product family, denim and activewear included. Tell us the quantity per style and colorway in the brief and we place it from there.

Typically 8–12 weeks from brief to delivery: 2–4 weeks for sampling and fit, 4–6 weeks for bulk, then 1–5 days by ground to anywhere in the lower 48. Fabric is usually what decides the short or the long end.

For most denim lines, yes: of the three US hubs, LA has the deepest denim sewing and wash capacity. Describe the wash look in your brief and approve the wash standard on a real sample before bulk. More on denim manufacturing in the USA.

Yes, worded correctly. If the fabric is imported, the label must say “Made in USA of imported fabric” (or name the fabric’s country). A plain “Made in USA” label needs US-made fabric as well as US cutting and sewing. We check the label and product-page wording against the FTC rules before the first bulk run.

The brief is free and we reply within 24 hours. Our fee is quoted in writing after we read the brief, before any work starts, and is never tied to order size. The factory bills you directly for production.
